| I have been trying and trying to find a city in Illinois that has a higher property tax rate than Newton's $2.28357 per $100 assesed. I know that there has to be a city in Illinois with higher property taxes than Newton but after hours of searching I have been unable to find any, If you know of one let me know. What I am typically finding is rates 1/2 or less of Newton. |
